PARTNERS
The Portuguese Association of StartUps (APSU) was created to foster entrepreneurship and add to an innovative and sustainable economy. Its mission is to boost employment creation and the development of entrepreneurial initiatives, by combining infrastructures and specialised support services. Through its aggregating strategy, APSU seeks to organise, promote and share good practices and resources, while detecting and tackling regional and sectorial gaps. It also aims at finding new business opportunities, stimulating networking, implementing networking actions and advanced coaching sessions.
Besides fostering the entrepreneurial spirit, APSU is intended to support those who are no longer entrepreneurs and ensure the continuity of the enterprises created. It is our belief that by endowing business people and entrepreneurs with specific skills of entrepreneurial initiative, we are fostering qualified entrepreneurship and creating high potential businesses.
Established in 2002, SYNTHESIS Center for Research and Education is a pioneering organization which designs and implements research and educational projects with social impact. SYNTHESIS is Cyprus’ leader in social innovation and social entrepreneurship; it founded Hub Nicosia, a social innovation hub which houses and supports entrepreneurs and organizations with a social mission. SYNTHESIS manage “Hub Nicosia,” a pioneering social innovation hub which houses and supports organizations, entrepreneurs and enterprises with a social mission. SYNTHESIS provide non-formal education to youth and adults – people who are at the risk of social exclusion, including NEET youth, migrants, people with disabilities, or those with fewer opportunities. SYNTHESIS’ work focuses on developing a combination of knowledge, values and skills which will mobilise youth and adults to fully engage in civic, political and economic life.
Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) is an award-winning Greek non-profit organization committed to the promotion of innovation and the enhancement of the entrepreneurial spirit. Established in 2005, in Larissa, Greece, iED is a certified leading Center of Excellence in European entrepreneurship and a fast-growing Digital Innovation Hub, registered as a member of the European Commission’s catalog of DIHs.
iED recognizes entrepreneurship as a crucial factor for the future of sustainable development and cohesion of societies. It conducts research and provides innovative solutions that facilitate the growth of entrepreneurship and promote employment across Europe. Our main aim is to produce and transfer know-how, boost cognitive processes and enhance the effectiveness and viability of all types of enterprises.
Over the 16 years of our activity, we have implemented more than 200 National and European projects under numerous Financial Frameworks (Horizon, Erasmus+, AMIF, REC, COSME, INTERREG, ENI CBC MED, Life etc.). Our experience gave us a unique insight into the practical aspects of the implementation of large-scale co-funding projects, making us a strong and reliable European project partner and leader. It has also provided us with an extremely wide network of more than 4.200 partners and collaborating organizations from the EU and beyond.
The Community Development Institute (CDI) is a non-governmental and non-profit national umbrella association for development, education and social services.
The association as an informal group started its work by the end of 1994 and with the first official registration by the Ministry of internal affairs in 1996. The CDI’s experience is based on more than 25 years’ work within the community, addressing citizens’ problems and needs and helping in overcoming challenges. The CDI operates at local, national and international level, providing services and conducting activities in different regions, and in partnership, in various countries. We conduct activities on 4 continents: Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.
WYŻSZA SZKOŁA EKONOMII I INNOWACJI W LUBLIN is a non-state higher education institution founded in 2001. WSEI offers higher education programmes in various academic disciplines. It is a nationally recognised institution that has already received numerous awards for its labour market oriented education. In addition, WSEI continually modifies its educational offer to match its needs. The University has over 6000 students (of which about 80% are extramural students) and almost 400 carefully selected and experienced teaching staff. It provides a comprehensive approach to education, as well as unique experiences and development opportunities through a range of related professional courses, supported by intensive research and knowledge transfer activities. WSEI focuses on building bridges between business and the academic sector.
